Section titled “Overview”The phone_carrier property is a single-line text field that stores the name of the telecom provider associated with the phone number. This is populated during the HLR lookup.

Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”- Geographic Targeting: Segment contacts by carrier to identify regional clusters.
- Troubleshooting: If SMS delivery fails for a specific group, check if they all share a specific carrier that might be blocking messages.
- Lead Scoring: In some B2B contexts, the carrier can give a hint about the lead’s location or business size.
