Phone Is Disposable

Automatically flag burner and disposable phone numbers

Clean Dial’s Phone Is Disposable property is a boolean (checkbox) field that automatically flags numbers belonging to temporary, “burner,” or disposable phone services. These numbers are often used for spam, fraud, or low-intent signups. Identifying them allows you to protect your sales pipeline and focus on high-quality leads.

When contacts pass through a Clean Dial HLR Lookup workflow action or bulk HLR lookup process, the system automatically:

  1. Analyzes the number’s carrier and line type data
  2. Checks against known databases of disposable number providers
  3. Sets the phone_is_disposable property to true or false
ValueDescription
TrueThe number is confirmed to be from a disposable/temporary service.
FalseThe number is from a standard permanent carrier (or status is unknown).
  • Fraud Prevention: Block or flag signups using disposable numbers to prevent trial abuse and bot accounts.
