daeda-mcp package is free and open source. We publish it to npm so any RevOps person with Claude Desktop, Cursor, or an MCP-compatible AI can use it at zero cost. We make money when you outgrow it and upgrade to Daeda AI for writes, multi-portal, and in-HubSpot AI.Do I need my IT team to install it?
No. It runs on your own machine with a single install command. You authenticate once with a HubSpot private app token (which a HubSpot admin can generate in a few clicks). No company SaaS approval, no Marketplace install, no integration review.
Does my HubSpot data leave my computer?
No. The tool syncs a snapshot of your portal into an encrypted local SQLite database. Your AI client (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, etc.) queries that local database - not our servers, not HubSpot's API for every question. Credentials are stored in your operating system keychain.
Will my HubSpot admin see anything different?
The tool uses a standard HubSpot private app token with read scopes. Your admin sees a normal private app in the portal's integrations list - same as any other tool. No write access, no app install, no changes to workflows.
What questions can I actually ask it?
Anything that's a SELECT against your synced portal data - stuck deals, unowned contacts, deals missing fields, close-rate by source, company breakdown, activity gaps, property completeness. If you can describe it to another ops person in plain English, the AI can usually pull it in one question.
