New Account Setup
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Daeda AI works across multiple portals - so it might be a bit more complicated than you’re used to.
A core part of understanding it is the Master/Client architecture.
- Master - The is your normal portal, it is the hub for your Daeda AI - for instance, it’s where you manage billing.
- Client - This is a portal you want to use Daeda AI with, where your work happens.
Master
Section titled “Master”You Master portal manages Daeda AI and acts as the Hub for the application. It’s where:
- You connect and install new Client Portals.
- Manage Billing.
- Generate License Keys.
- Can Manage all your Client Portals.
You can install your Master Portal from the HubSpot Marketplace.
By default, it requests few permissions and does not work with Daeda AI.
Client Portals
Section titled “Client Portals”Client portals are where all the work gets done. They:
- Are installed/connected from a Master Portal.
- Require permissions to gather data for Daeda AI.
- Host Write Plans where AI can propose changes to HubSpot.
- Don’t require any other admin.
- Need to build after being connect (this is done automatically and can take 15 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the size of the portals).
Client portals only display information about themselves. They cannot be created from a marketplace install, they must use the install link generated from a master portal.
P.S: A Master Portal can also be a Client Portal - simply install the master, then connect it to itself.
Next Steps
Section titled “Next Steps”Once you portals are connected, here are the next steps for getting Daeda AI setup.
